Tom Reid has been in financial services for 25 years. After some years with Bank of America, he founded Reid Financial in 2005 in order to serves clients individualized needs. Creativity and teamwork are among the hallmarks of his practice. He became an early champion of ‘non traditional’ Long term care planning after the passing of the Pension Protection act in 2006 and is known for proactively collaborating with attorneys and CPAs to help maximize client advantage.
Reid has followed trends in Estate, Social Security, proactive tax reduction, IRA and Insurance planning, always seeking the most authoritative professionals to consult with and collaborate.
Serving individuals and their organizations goals with ingenuity and empathy, Reid is also a husband and proud father of three daughters, one of whom he works with. He enjoys travel, working out, reading and exploring the French Quarter with the family dog, Pickle. A former hockey goaltender from Minnesota, he is an avid sports fan.
Emma Reid joined Reid Financial in 2016 and has been instrumental to the growth of the family business.
Emma is an award-winning documentary and digital media film producer and videographer based in Louisiana with a strong focus in environmental and social justice issues. She specializes in leading production teams and overseeing the entire film production process from initial development to post production editing.
